One of the most impressive canyons in Europe that is formed by the river Verdon between Castellane and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie in southern France. It is an Eldorado for climbers and hikers. One of the most beautiful hikes is the Sentier Martel, which descends at Chalet de la Maline and reappears from the canyon after 14 km at Pointe Sublime.
