The EAWAG is the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology and belongs to the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). At the location in Dübendorf, close to Zurich, the Forum Chriesbach is a new building that was completed in 2005. The building is as energy efficient as currently possible and consumes only a fourth of the energy of a regular building. The building has won numerous awards and was designed by Bob Gysin + Partner.
