Wenderholm Regional Park

A small park in the north of Auckland, near Waiwera. It features a golden, sandy beach, campgrounds, walking paths and picknick areas. It is set in a beautifully managed, park-like landscape with many old Pohutukawa trees.

Weitsee, Mittersee, Lödensee

Three small lakes located in a nature reserve between Ruhpolding and Reit im Winkl, in the bavarian alps. The beautiful lakes are wonderful for bathing in summer and popular for cross-country skiing in winter.

White-necked Jacobin (Florisuga mellivora)

A beautiful white-blue-green colored, relatively large and common species of hummingbird that inhabits a range from southern Mexico to central Brazil and Bolivia. It feeds on nectar and insects.
